The USMNT's putting together scoring chances after a shitty start, but keeper Tim Howard's been crucial in net, particularly right before halftime when Portugal had an almost-certain opportunity for a second goal.

Nani's original shot bounced off the post as Howard dove for it, and when the ball came back to Éder, the keeper rose up just in time to pop the second chance away. Hopefully, Howard will be rewarded for his fantastic goalkeeping with a finish on offense in the second half.
